They have an interesting and elevated selection of spirits so you have multiple options to choose from. The bartenders are friendly even when it is busy. The atmosphere is laid back and fun and the karaoke is extremely welcoming. I have some social anxiety so it's awesome to be able to go to a fun bar that is down to earth and friendly. The folks that hangout here are pretty chill and fun to be around. This place is plugged in to what matters. Good drinks, friendly people, and a safe space where you can be a little weird and feel accepted.

As a karaoke host elsewhere in town, I rely on Sundays at Fair Witness to remind me why I love karaoke- and the community it fosters. The staff- Cora and Sammie especially- have a knack for making each patron feel seen and welcomed even when the small space is packed to the gills with folks ordering up complex drinks. The wine list is impeccable, the cocktails are genius and whimsically fun, and I never feel uneasy bopping around for a solo night of tipsy fun when I’m there. I recommend this bar to anyone who asks for a unique date night, a place to cheers a special occasion, or a stage on which to sing with likeminded silly gooses. 500 out of 5.

I was here for an open Mic event sponsored by Divine Drops. The atmosphere was magical. What a lovely backdrop for their event to give voice to women's issues. The room was filled with the talent and energy of amazing women a beautifully behaved fur baby and one man 😘. It was my first visit to Fair Witness but I will definitely be going back to have a drink and socialize.

I like this place, but it gets just busy. (Fair) asked what kind of drinks the bartender can make with a specific bottle. His response “none” and kept it moving. It was the way he said it and I get it busy. But can’t be rude to people. Place is called (fancy drinks) but use bottom shelf liquor and charge you top shelf prices. Better places in Winston to grab a drink and not be talked to rudely by employee.

Glad we stumbled upon this great place! Fair Witness is one of Winston-Salem’s best-kept secrets and absolutely worth a visit. The atmosphere is laid-back yet vibrant, with cozy lighting and great music that sets the perfect mood. It's a no-frills space, but with creative touches throughout making it feel special - and the same goes for their cocktails. The Bourbon Sunset? Seriously, GO GET IT. The servers are attentive and make sure you’re well taken care of, and honestly, I think Fair Witness might make the best cocktails I've had in the city. Fair Witness is hands down my go-to spot for a top-notch drink in Winston-Salem.
